1) The part of POGIL that i find most useful is the group work and trying not to ask the teacher questions but you classmates. It really challenges you and make you think harder about the question and the solution.
2) The part of POGIL that i find least useful is when you aren't as familiar with your classmates and the group doesn't work together as well. This makes the work harder considering you are not as familiar with all of the material.
3) I would improve these activities by working with the same group every time to really work together without being awkward tension between the group. Also to have bonuses or challenges on every POGIL for extra credit and to try to push and challenge the group with the work.
What bonuses would you think to be useful for this type of encouragement? I like this idea.
